What’s included in the collection of additional 3e Ptolus-related titles?

Are the extras that come with the new Ptolus book the same as those that came with the original?
The new versions of Ptolus (for 5e and Cypher System) will each include a packet of physical extras and nearly 300 pages of digital extras. These will include oodles of handouts; two campaign journals; fiction; This Week in Ptolus, which outlines a year’s worth of local news and events from around the city on a week-by-week basis; and several tools that make navigating and using the main book even easier. Past versions of Ptolus also included various combinations of marketing items and bonus products in the extras, but those won’t be included in the new version. (That said, the bonus products are among the collection of 3e titles included in most backer levels of this campaign.)

Does the conversion of Ptolus for 5e and Cypher System include The Banewarrens, The Night of Dissolution, Chaositech, or other existing Malhavoc Press products?
The primary offering of this campaign is the Ptolus book itself. We aren’t converting any of those titles as part of that specific reward. However, you never know what we might be able to unlock through stretch goals. . . .

There’s only one Player’s Guide, but two versions of Ptolus--one for 5e, and the other for Cypher System. Why is that?
The Player’s Guide contains so little rules content that it simply didn’t make sense to produce two versions of it. The single version serves both 5e and Cypher System users just fine, with very little content that’s irrelevant to either.
The main book, though, will have substantial mechanical content, so there will be two versions–one for 5e and one for the Cypher System.

Why do some backer levels include the Player’s Guide in print, but none of them include it in PDF?
The Ptolus Player’s Guide in PDF is free! You can download it right now via this Kickstarter page (click the graphic that says “Download the Ptolus Player’s Guide for Free Here!“). Once the new version of Ptolus: Monte Cook’s City by the Spire is published, all backers, and anyone else for that matter, will be able to get the Ptolus Player’s Guide in PDF from DriveThruRPG or the MCG Shop for free.

How do I get all of the stretch goals?
Some of our stretch goals add content or features to the Ptolus book. Some of those features are physical elements. So your copy of Ptolus in PDF will include any stretch goal items that affect the content of the PDF. If you’re getting Ptolus in print, your copy will also include those upgrades that affect the print version.
Other stretch goals are separate items. Some of those items will be available in PDF format as well as print, but some might be physical items only. Every backer at the RESIDENT level and above will get all of the PDF stretch goals as part of their rewards–automagically! Backers at the HERO level will get every print stretch goal. (Some physical stretch goal items that are not books may be available only as add-ons.)
Additionally, most physical stretch goals will also be available as add-ons.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
